Happy Spring

It’s that time of the year again to wake up everything at Craigsville Camp Ground. Get bathrooms and kitchen ready for water to be turned on, pick up limbs, rake leaves, clean. Paint and work on the other projects for upcoming camp meeting. But to get these things done….

We need workers…. We need you!

SO PLAN ON BEING AT SPRING WORK WEEK APRIL 17-20, 2017.

Rooms will be available and meals will be provided for all workers. The fellowship with your brothers and sisters will be a lasting and rewarding experience. This would be a good time to check and do repairs to your room.

Anyone wanting to help with grass cutting at the Camp Grounds this year please contact Bob Hefner(304-497-3556) or Walter Alexander (304-860-9099).

BEEF FUND

First the Craigsville leadership would like to thank you and show our appreciation to all of the congregations. Churches, church groups or individuals who have continued to support the beef fund. Even though it is not as publicized as much as in the past, it is none the less needed and needful of your support. Those who are faithful to give are a blessing to those who may struggle to pay for their meals and make it less of a financial burden to all of us. Than you again and remember to support the “Beef Fund”

Camp Meeting is scheduled for June 18-23, 2017. I’m sure that as tat time gets closer people will begin to get their campers primed and ready to make the trip to the camp ground. We are busy filling the dorm rooms on a first come first serve basis. There are still 5-6 rooms available for the week. IF you would like to reserve on of these rooms feel free to contact Dooby (304-573-91490 to do so. However, all the rooms with bathrooms/showers are already booked for this year. You MUST be 21 years of age to secure a room. Camping spots are also on a first come, first serve basis.

CAMP AGAPE—2017

Summer will be here before we know it especially after the crazy fall and winter weather we have been experiencing. Cam[ Agape is scheduled to take place Monday July 3rd — July 7th.

The theme Scripture is Psalm 18:2

The speaker will be Dee Thomas from Huntington.

Camp is for children who have completed Kindergarten thru the 6th grade. We have youth that are in the 7th-12th grades that are also welcomed. The cost of camp is $50.00 per camper. Registration packets will be mailed out some time n May. Begin to mark you calendar for the week of July 3-7 as CAMP AGAPE WEEK!

Craigsville is noted for having one priority, to keep the main thing, the main thing. That is our prayerful attempt to provide a great preaching theme and a host of messengers that will be obedient to deliver what the Holy Spirit supplies them with. This year we look forward to hearing the preaching theme from preachers form both far and near.

The theme this year is “THE CALL TO HOLINESS”.

Bro. Bobby Dunn will be our Evangelist, Bro. Ben Murphy will be the Worship Leader and Bro. Jeremy Dunn will be the Youth Evangelist. Make plans NOW, MARK it down your calendar to be at Craigsville 2017! We look forward to seeing you there!!!! For our complete program schedule and speakers see page 5.
