From the Chairman…

While Camp Meeting seems a long way off, it is just a little over three months way. Anticipation overflows my emotions, but realization of the work that must be completed before Camp Meeting can bring me quickly back to reality. I choose to focus on the anticipation of the Holy Spirit's presence and guidance during the programming of the Camp Meeting to help me stay on task as we prepare to come together as a church longing for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit on our individual lives and the lives of our congregations.

We would like to invite you to plan on being at our Camp Meeting and also be a part of the preparations necessary to enable this to take place. Your Will find work camp dates in this newsletter. Our enlarged committee would be happy to help you find something to do to contribute to the success of Camp Meeting. With the Lord’s help we want to prepare and beautify the grounds, while trusting got to prepare hearts of the hearers and the proclamation of the Word through the messengers. May you come longing for the direction of the Spirit in your life to stand in the gap for the Lord so that we can impact this sinful world for Christ and help turn it right side up for the Lord.

We covet your prayers for our speakers, singers, workers, ushers, altar workers, and leaders for this special week together in June. May God use the total surrender of this group to His perfect will to set our movement on fire for His purpose. Your participation and sacrifice may seem small to you but do all you can for we know that little is much if God is in it. We appreciate your sacrifice of labor, prayers, finances, encouragement and all that you willingly give to the ministry of Craigsville Camp Meeting.
